Anybody who has owned an AKC English Bulldog knows that they are not very healthy animals. They are prone to heat strokes, cannot breed or give birth naturally, and have horrible breathing problems. These problems all arose out of poor breeding techniques. The English Bulldogs of the 1800's were bred with pugs to reduce their size and create a better temperament. These objectives were achieved but at the cost of the dog's health and general well-being. Add that to years of inbreeding and line breeding and you get a very unstable unhealthy gene pool. We work with some of the best imported bloodlines in the world and we do not practice any inbreeding or line breeding techniques. Our bullies are much healthier and have longer lifespans than AKC bulldogs.
We are located in north Texas and all of our dogs are able to stay outside in the triple-digit weather. They are able to run and jump and play in this weather. This is a testament to how healthy all of our dogs are. Of course, like all English Bulldogs, they make great in-house pets too!
